LOOK UP — a project for all the people who walk looking at the ground.

The things we look at influence our mood. A beautiful city like Paris can’t be appreciated staring at the ground.
Look up is a poetic trick to briefly surprise your daily walk and rise your sight. A little interaction with very low technology :-)

NABASUTRA 2008 — the Fuorisalone event of NABA for the Milan Furniture Fair 2008

14 international schools of design and architecture where invited to NABA to hold a 4 days workshop on the City of desire, theme.
14 workshops x 4 days x 120 foreign students and professors to learn, to enjoy, to have fun, to work together, to communicate and to get in touch with different cultures and ways to approch the project. The whole organisation was quite complex and at some time challenging, and as a consequence an interesting and teacherly experience.

Picture: Honk Kong workshop by Gutierrez + Portefaix (MAP office), the final burning event (more on HK workshop).

NABABOOM — parasite design

:-) event backstage: when you are not the star but you look after her.
While working at NABA as assistant to the Design department I collaborated to the organization of the NABA Fuorisalone event during the Milan Furniture fair 2007. My role was to review the students’ projects for the exhibition, prototyping and setting up the space.
Above is the flyer of the event with a photo by Walter Aprile.

KRISALIDE — A collaborative performance.

12’ for improvisation: a plot of 3 people talking at the same time with the language they are more familiar with. Dante manages the sound, Marcella her body movements and gesture and I draw on the background. I can not say if it's nice to see, that's up to you, but I love doing it :-)
This performance, supported by a limited amount of technology, strengthens the human sensibility and ability to improvisate.

IMMAGINATING ME — As many me as the looks at myself.

11 minutes performance to show by drawing what I see of Joyce. Maybe only in fairytale we are unique.
There's a different ME for every person I interact with.

AIR-SHELTER — Temporary rest safe for non-places

7h to wait in an airport, 5h jet lag and 1day of travelling on the shoulder, still you can't sleep because the fear of your luggage being stolen is like a 2l caffe. So you can rent a safe Air.Shelter to get your deserved rest.

ID - WORKSHOPS — How easy is to organise some workshops?

The organization of the Id-lab workshops was for me the first experience in project management and organization.
The project involved different aspects such as the choice of workshop subject, teacher selection, time lenght, location, logistic, budget, participation feed, printed and web communication, information contact and documentation. A different experience to my background where I learnt a lot.
The workshops I’ve been organizing are the following: RFID tag, Processing, Arduino, Eyesweb and Stopmotion.
